Should I replace my existing ad spots or create new placements?

We have found that publishers have the most success when they replace an existing ad spot (before adding new slots to the site)

Note: This article discusses replacing ad units for non-Sulvo-powered ads, it does not cover replacing your Sulvo ad code. 

 

Advanced account tips:

There are a few things to keep in mind when you are approved for an Advanced account:

  1. Generally it is better to replace your existing ads before adding any new ad spot to the site. Sulvo's technology is superb in increasing the value of an already existing placement.

  2. You should see the biggest gains on units where the CTR or the CPM is already high. Sulvo's patented ad serving technology is extremely good at increasing these placements' value.

  3. Each spot on the page has a different rate due to different viewability and CTR rates, they should not be compared with any other ad on the site. Determining an ad's real present value will take a little longer, but the Sulvo platform will find it within a couple days.
