Consent Management Platform (CMP) Settings

Last updated on 09 Jun, 2026

As regulations are changing around the world, many jurisdictions have introduced new requirements for user notifications. These include GDPR, CCPA, LGPD and others. To maximize the value of each Sulvo impression we highly recommend that publishers allow “data processing” and allow “personalized ads” to be shown to the users.

Since Sulvo works with many buyer pools, each buyer system may rely on different signals about the value of the user. While we cannot add the full list, as it changes on the buyer systems, we highly recommend to include the following data providers:

  • ID5

  • Amazon

  • Google

Please keep in mind that buyers tend to bid poorly in data-poor environments, so we recommend that, in addition to the above three, you allow as many ad providers in your Consent Management Platform as possible, as each has the potential to make a positive difference in your CPM.

Using another CMP or consent framework

You may use another CMP, but the setup must still pass the consent requirements for the demand partners serving ads on your site.

Analytics consent signals are not always a CMP

Some tools send privacy or consent-related signals without showing a full CMP experience to the user. Examples can include analytics scripts, publisher analytics tools, or WordPress consent frameworks.

Those signals may help with compliance workflows, but they are not always enough for ad serving. For personalized advertising demand, buyers often require clear consent signals from a supported CMP setup.

If you use a third-party CMP

Confirm that:

  • The CMP is active on pages where Sulvo ads run.

  • The CMP supports the required consent framework for your traffic regions.

  • Google and major demand partners are included where required.

  • Consent is available before ad calls that require it.

  • The CMP is not blocking or delaying Sulvo tags in a way that prevents ads from serving.

If you do not show a consent banner

If your setup does not show a consent banner or modal, support may need to review whether the site is sending the signals required for the countries where your traffic is located.

Send support:

  • The domain.

  • The CMP provider, if any.

  • Whether the CMP appears on all pages or only some pages.

  • Whether you use Google Funding Choices, InMobi, Quantcast, OneTrust, a WordPress consent framework, or another provider.

  • A sample URL where Sulvo ads run.
