Interstitial ad units show ads when visitors are browsing between pages of the same site. These units are a great addition to any site for boosting impression quality and getting high CPMs (CPMs for interstitial on average are 5x to 10x other units!!!).
Easy to implement
Sulvo has also made it easy to implement interstitial ad units by making them tagless. Tagless units do not require body tag placement, they run on all pages that have the head tag, including desktop and mobile. Tagless behavior can be managed at "Inventory--->Interstitial Desktop/Mobile--->Ad Settings---->Activation".
Note: Once activated please make sure to remove any other interstitial units from the site, such as "Adsense Vignettes".
Focus on user experience
Interstitial ad units are the most user experience focused units that Sulvo offers. To preserve user experience, interstitials have the following restrictions:
1. they do not show on the first visit to your site
2. they are only shown between pages of the same site
3. they are frequency capped to 1 impression per visitor every 10 minutes (note that interstitials will show a lower PIS (programmatic impressions served) when compared to other ad units)
